He was buried on 14 Feb 1714 in St Mary's Church, Bampton, Oxfordshire (transcript "a householder"). John was named in a will 2 on 29 Nov 1742 in East Hendred, Berkshire. He has this 16 Sep 2007 document 3 for document for sorting out the children between Mary Spinnage & Susannah Palmer

John married 1 Mary SPINNAGE [scrapbook]-2482, daughter of Robert SPINNAGE-2780 and Ann CULLEY-2781, on 10 Oct 1697 in St Mary's, Bampton, Oxford. Mary was christened 2 on 6 Jan 1671/1672 in Stanford in the Vale, Berkshire. She was buried 3 on 28 Feb 1714 in St Mary's Church, Bampton, Oxfordshire.

She was left a legacy 2 in her aunt Elizabeth Baston's Will 29 Nov 1742, East Hendred, Berkshire 1742 left £5 in her aunt Elizabeth's Will.
				Ann married 1 Thomas GODFREY-2817 on 15 Jan 1750 in St Augustine, East Hendred, Berkshire. They had no children. Thomas was born about 1700. He was buried on 1 Jan 1778 in St Augustine, East Hendred, Berkshire. Marriage Notes: Was still single in 1742 according to her aunt Elizabeth's Will. 1750 Married Thomas Godfrey in East Hendred.  No children recorded at East Hendred. 1774 Buried East Hendred.

	49	M	vi	William BASTON [scrapbook]-2637 was christened 1 on 1 Dec 1708 in St Mary's, Bampton, Oxford. He died in date unknown. He was left a legacy 2 in his aunt Elizabeth Baston's Will 29 Nov 1742, East Hendred, Berkshire 1742 Left £5 in his aunt Elizabeth's Will.
	50	M	vii	Jonathan BASTON [scrapbook]-882 was christened 1 on 7 Mar 1710/1711 in Bampton, Oxfordshire. He was buried 2 on 17 Mar 1714 in St Mary's Church, Bampton, Oxfordshire.

32. William BASTON [scrapbook]-918 (William , John , John , John ) was born in Bampton Oxfordshire. He was christened 1 on 17 Apr 1664 in St Mary's, Bampton, Oxfordshire. He died in (Before 1742 shown as deceased in sister's 1742 Will). He was buried on 7 Apr 1720 in St Mary's, Bampton, Oxfordshire. A 2006 map and surrounding village map 2 of Bampton, Oxfordshire. He was named in a will 3 on 29 Nov 1742 in East Hendred, Berkshire. A photograph 4 of Town Hall, Bampton Market Square 1885, which probably hadn't changed since William's days. A photograph 5 of Broad Street, Market Square, Bampton Village, looking towards where the Baston house was located. The Baston Family has this Coat of Arms 6 of English origin. From here on back, the links need proving but seem the likely family line back to John born 1526.   I can find no other William in the Bampton area so William (about 1680) could be the William baptised 1664 in Bampton to William. 1742 Mentioned as deceased in his sister Elizabeth's Will.

William married unknown BASTON? [scrapbook]-727 about 1703. unknown was born about 1680. She died in date unknown. I did have this down as Ann Hitchenden who married a William Baston in 1703 at Aylesbury but have since found a burial for William of Aylesbury in 1704 at Stratton Audley although it may be a different William. Marriage Notes: I did have this down as William Baston married Ann Hitchendon 1704 at Aylesbury but subsequent investigations have cast doubt on this and so the reference has been removed.

William and unknown had the following children.

+	53	M	iii	Jonathan BASTON-919 was christened on 22 Jan 1720. He died on 8 Jun 1784.

35. Mary BASTON [scrapbook]-2328 (William , John , John , John ) was christened 1 on 12 Jul 1674 in St Mary's, Bampton, Oxfordshire. She was buried in poss 26 Nov 1740 in St Mary's, Bampton, Oxfordshire, (TS of Aston). Mary was named in a will 2 on 29 Nov 1742 in East Hendred, Berkshire.

They had the following children.

	54	F	i	Mary PRIOR-2718 was born about 1710. She was buried in date unknown in possibly 26 Sep 1756, All Saint's, Faringdon, Berks. (TS). She was left a legacy 1 in her aunt Elizabeth Baston's Will 29 Nov 1742, East Hendred, Berkshire
				Mary married unknown (William?) SPARKES-2719 in date unknown. unknown was born about 1705. He was buried in date unknown in possibly 23 May 1752 All Saint's, Faringdon, Berks (TS).
	55	M	ii	John PRIOR-2734 was born about 1714. He was buried on 30 Nov 1768 in St Mary's Church, Bampton, Oxfordshire (Ts age 54). He was left a legacy 1 in his aunt Elizabeth Baston's Will 29 Nov 1742, East Hendred, Berkshire He was left a legacy 2 in his aunt Deborah Cooke's Will 18 Mar 1754, St Saviour's, Southwark, Surrey 1742 was left £5 in his aunt, Elizabeth's will.

36. Deborah BASTON [scrapbook]-2712 (William , John , John , John ) was born about 1675 in Oxfordshire. She died 1 on 4 Mar 1756 in Southwark, Surrey. She was buried 2 on 12 Mar 1756 in St Saviour's, Southwark, Surrey. She was left a legacy 3 in her sister Elizabeth Baston's Will 29 Nov 1742, East Hendred, Berkshire She had a will 4 on 18 Mar 1754 in St Saviour's, Southwark, Surrey. Her will was probated 5 on 10 Mar 1756 in Court of Canterbury, London. 1742 Will, was left bulk of her sister, Elizabeth's estate. The only Deborah's baptised at Bampton between 1660 & 1700 are Deborah Bazly to a William 26th November 1665, maybe an incorrect spelling and this is the one or the other is Deborah Joyes 20th November 1667 to Henry Joyes.

Deborah married 1, 2, 3 John COOKE [scrapbook]-2713 on 18 Jun 1696 in St Bartholomew's Church, Ducklington, & St Mary's Church, Bampton, Oxfordshire. John was christened on 3 Jun 1677 in St Mary's, Bampton, Oxfordshire (TS). He died 4 on 16 Mar 1754 in St Saviour's, Southwark, Surrey. He was buried 5 on 21 Mar 1754 in St Saviours, Southwark, London (a leather dresser). John had a will 6 on 28 Sep 1744 in St Saviour's, Southwark, Surrey. His will was probated 7 on 18 Mar 1754 in London.

John obtained a deed 2 for the takeover of the lands late in the occupation of his father & grandfather on 13 May 1695 in Aston & Cote, Oxfordshire. He had a will on 8 May 1709 3 in Brighthampton, Oxford 3. He has this pedigree 4 from his Will dated 8 May 1709 in Brighthampton, Oxfordshire. His will was probated 5 on 18 May 1709 in Bampton, Oxfordshire?.

43. Henry BASTON [scrapbook]-2478 (John , John , John , John ) was christened 1, 2 on 12 Oct 1656 in St Mary's, Bampton, Oxfordshire. He was buried in poss 15 Jan 1729 in St Mary's, Bampton, Oxfordshire (TS Henry Basson of Aston). Henry has this 13 May 1695 document 3 which names him along with his brother John as tenants of land at Aston & Cote, Oxfordshire He was in the Oxford Quarter Sessions court for a petition to close the Baston Ale House in Astin & Cote 4on 9 Apr 1700. Possible children of Henry 1656 but there could be another Henry.  (Can't be Henry 1666 to William as Henry was buried in 1694).
