My Family

Francis & Ann Baston of Hackney, Shoreditch & Whitechapel, London - Francis born 1762 Bampton, Oxfordshire, died 1813 Paul Street, Shoreditch - Painters & Boot Makers in Tabernacle Street, Shoreditch from about 1790.  Francis is descended from John Baston & Elizabeth Thatcher who were married 1552 in Bampton, Oxfordshire and both trees include all of John & Elizabeth's descendants.

This tree is shown in two separate ways

  1. Ancestors of Kealey Rose Baston & Tyler Howard.
  2. Ancestors of Adam Luke John & Jane Louisa Baston.

Unconnected Baston families in London

Joseph & Emma Baston family of Hackney, Joseph 1810 born Nottinghamshire, died in 1855 London - Brewer by trade in London from about 1830, had 3 daughters and 1 son.

John & Mary Baston family of the St Pancras area, John born 1795 Ottery, Devon - Tin plate Worker and Gas Meter Makers in London from about 1840. John a son born 1820 Bristol also married a Mary and had an extended family in the St Pancras area..

John & Charlotte Baston  family in the Old Street area, John born 1846 Truro  - also Boot Makers.  Appeared in London about 1874.

Thomas & Elizabeth Bastion family (appears as Baston from about 1850) Camberwell, Surrey. Ostlers in the 1800's.
