The Church where George May (1810) and Robert May (1787) were Baptised and Robert May married Ann Seale in 1810 and was buried in 1855 and Jonathan May buried in 1820

The current Church dates from the 14th century and may be the third or fourth Church on the site, the west tower was added in the 15th century.  On July 17th 1624 the Church was struck by lightning and caught fire.  The damage was so extensive that it was not until 1629 that repairs were sufficiently completed for the Bishop to reconsecrate the church.".
