It looks as though on William's death, his son William inherited the house in
Broad Street, Bampton, this in turn went to his son Francis and the land at
Buckland to his son Thomas, William's (1704) great grandson, John Baston is
shown as still living in Broad Street in the 1861 census with his wife Jane
(Kitchener).
