Baston family of Hackney, Shoreditch and Whitechapel, London from 1785, originally from Bampton, Oxfordshire

Descendants of unknown (father of Samuel 1794) BISSETT born about 1770 in Scotland

This branch of the Bissett family originated in Leith, Scotland were they were sailors and sailed ships around England and Europe. This family line moved south to London in the 1800's and were based in the Limehouse area which was then the port and docks area of London.

Individuals marked with a red dot in the following pages are direct ancestors of Adam Luke John and Jane Louisa Baston.
