Notes

16384. John BASTON

Probably the John Baston mentioned as a "Vicars' Warden" 1603-1609 as a witnessing signature to the copying of the 1538 - 1613 paper registers onto parchment by the Rev. Robert Joy (instituted 1595, died 1614).
1589 Will of father John Baston, left rest of his estate.
1597 No mention of the family in the 1597 tax assesment.
1604 Will of mother, Elizabeth Baston left 2 bushels of wheat and one bushel of barley.
1610 Subsidy Tax Record
1630 his will & probate.

8192. Agnis BASTON

1589 Left 2 bushels of barley in her grandfather, John's will.
1604 Will of her grandmother, Elizabeth Baston she was left one bushel of barley & one of the best pewter platters.

8192. Margery BASTON

1604 left one bushel of barley in her grandmother, Elizabeth will.
Margery is not mentioned in the 1630 will of her father John Baston, she possibly married John Bennet as he is mentioned as a son-in-law and his children receive an inheritance, there is also a John Bennet born 1614 to a John & Mar. Bennett in Bampton.

8192. Elizabeth BASTON

Not mentioned in Elizabeth Baston's 1603 Will.

I'm still researching so if you have anything to add or correct then
please email Baston Family Genealogy

Please mention the RIN number attached to a person's name as it is very difficult for me to know for which John, William, Thomas, Edward etc you wish to have more information.

Thank you
