He was buried on 16 Aug 1711 in St Mary's Church, Bampton, Oxfordshire. William married 2 Susannah MORE-2653 about 1660 in Bampton? (1650 to 1653 missing) or Shifford (all the pre 1725 registers were destroyed by damp).

William has this tax record 3 dated on 25 Dec 1665 for Hearth Tax for Aston & Cote, Bampton Hundred, Oxfordshire.
He has this 1673 document 2 for an identified building mark for William Baston & Susannah in Standlake, Oxfordshire

Either William Basson born 1 March 1631, Christened 27 April 1631 to John & Elizabeth Baston (married 1626 nee Hore) or less likely, William Baston Christened 10 August 1628 to Robert.

1665 Taxed on one hearth.

Standlake "Building work by small yeoman or cottagers is commemorated by inscriptions , the Black Horse Public House (WBS 1673 for William & Susannah Baston)".
It looks as though once William took on the Black Horse at Standlake, the rest of his children weren't baptised.  We know they exist as they are mentioned in various Wills.

4097. Susannah MORE-2653 was christened on 6 Feb 1627/1628 in St Mary's Church, Bampton, Oxfordshire. She was buried in date unknown in possibly 28 Oct 1700 St Mary's Church, Bampton, Oxfordshire.

Susannah has this 1673 document 1 for William Baston & Susannah identified building mark in Standlake, Oxfordshire

John BASTON [scrapbook]-2480 was christened 1 on 3 Jun 1662 in St Mary's Church, Bampton, Oxfordshire. He died in Bef 1742, named as deceased in sister's 1742 Will. He was buried on 14 Feb 1714 in St Mary's Church, Bampton, Oxfordshire (transcript "a householder").

John was named in a will 2 on 29 Nov 1742 in East Hendred, Berkshire. He has this 16 Sep 2007 document 3 for sorting out the children between Mary Spinnage & Susannah Palmer
2048 M ii William BASTON-918 was christened on 17 Apr 1664. He was buried on 7 Apr 1720.

Henry BASTON [scrapbook]-2326 was christened 1 on 10 Jun 1666 in St Mary's Church, Bampton, Oxfordshire. He was buried 2 on 29 Oct 1694 in St Mary's Church, Bampton, Oxfordshire.

Henry was in the Oxford Quarter Sessions court 3 on 1 Jan 1692 for as a victim of wrongful arrest..

Elizabeth BASTON [scrapbook]-2327 was born on 10 Dec 1668 in Bampton Oxfordshire. She was christened 1 on 20 Dec 1668 in St Mary's Church, Bampton, Oxfordshire. She died on 29 Nov 1742 in East Hendred, Berkshire, a spinster (date of will). She was buried 2 on 17 Jul 1745 in St Michael's Church, Stanton Harcourt, Oxfordshire.

Elizabeth had a will 3 on 29 Nov 1742 in East Hendred, Berkshire. Her will was probated 4 on 17 Feb 1742/1743 in Court of Canterbury. She has this pedigree 5 constucted from her Will dated 29 Nov 1742 in East Hendred, Berkshire.

Probably the Elizabeth who died 1742 in East Hendred originally from Bampton - see will 1742.
Died 1742 a spinster according to her will. The only burial I can find is of an Elizabeth Baston in 1745 at Stanton Harcourt "17th July 1745, Elizabeth Baston a single woman".

Mary BASTON [scrapbook]-2328 was christened 1 on 12 Jul 1674 in St Mary's Church, Bampton, Oxfordshire. She was buried in poss 26 Nov 1740 in St Mary's, Bampton, Oxfordshire, ( "of Aston").

Mary was named in a will 2 on 29 Nov 1742 in East Hendred, Berkshire.

Deborah BASTON [scrapbook]-2712 was born about 1675 in Oxfordshire (of Bampton at marriage in 1696). She died 1 on 4 Mar 1756 in Southwark, Surrey. She was buried 2 on 12 Mar 1756 in St Saviour's Church, Southwark, Surrey.

She was left a legacy 3 in her sister Elizabeth Baston's Will 29 Nov 1742, East Hendred, Berkshire She was named by her sister Elizabeth as the Executor in a will on 17 Feb 1742/1743 in East Hendred, Berkshire. She had a will 4 on 18 Mar 1754 in St Saviour's, Southwark, Surrey. Her will was probated 5 on 10 Mar 1756 in Court of Canterbury, London.

1742 Will, was left bulk of her sister, Elizabeth's estate.
The only Deborah's baptised at Bampton between 1660 & 1700 are Deborah Bazly to a William 26th November 1665, maybe an incorrect spelling and this is the one or the other is Deborah Joyes 20th November 1667 to Henry Joyes.

Thomas BASTON-2744 was born about 1678. He was buried 1 on 27 Jul 1758 in St Augustine's Church, East Hendred, Berkshire.

He was left a legacy 2 in his sister Elizabeth Baston's Will 29 Nov 1742, East Hendred, Berkshire He was left a legacy 3 in his sister, Deborah Cooke's Will 18 Mar 1754, St Saviour's, Southwark, Surrey

Added in as he is mentioned in his sister, Elizabeth's 1742 Will, also in his sister Deborah's 1754 Will..
