2048. William BASTON [scrapbook]-918 was born in Bampton Oxfordshire. He was christened 1 on 17 Apr 1664 in St Mary's Church, Bampton, Oxfordshire. He was buried 2 on 7 Apr 1720 in St Mary's Church, Bampton, Oxfordshire. William married unknown BASTON?-727 about 1703. A 2006 map and surrounding village map 3 of Bampton, Oxfordshire. He was named in a will 4 on 29 Nov 1742 in East Hendred, Berkshire. A photograph 5 of Town Hall, Bampton Market Square 1885, which probably hasn't changed since William's days. A photograph 6 of Broad Street, Market Square, Bampton Village, looking towards where the Baston house was located. The Baston Family has this Coat of Arms 7 of English origin. [ Parents] I can find no other William in the Bampton area, so William (about 1680) could be the William baptised 1664 in Bampton to William. 1742 Mentioned as deceased in his sister Elizabeth's Will and that at the time he had 3 sons living, William Thomas & Jonathan..

2049. unknown BASTON? [scrapbook]-727 was born about 1680. She was buried in possibly 8 Jul 1726 St Mary's Church, Bampton, Oxfordshire ("widow Baston". I did have this down as Ann Hitchenden who married a William Baston in 1703 at Aylesbury but have since found a burial for William of Aylesbury in 1704 at Stratton Audley although it may be a different William.

	M	ii	Thomas (Bason) BASTON [scrapbook]-2723 was christened 1 on 24 May 1714 in St Mary's Church, Bampton, Oxfordshire. He was buried 2 on 7 Jun 1757 in St Gile's Church, Standlake, Oxfordshire. He was left a legacy 3 in his aunt Elizabeth Baston's Will 29 Nov 1742, East Hendred, Berkshire He has this pedigree 4 using his aunt Elizabeth Baston's Will dated 29 Nov 1742. 1742 Will, inherited all his aunt Elizabeth's messuage & appurtences in East Hendred, late in the tenure of Thomas Castle.
	M	iii	Jonathan BASTON [scrapbook]-919 was christened 1 on 22 Jan 1720 in St Mary's Church, Bampton, Oxfordshire. He died on 8 Jun 1784 in Weald Bampton, Oxfordshire. He was buried 2 on 11 Jun 1784 in St Mary's Church, Bampton, Oxfordshire. He was left a legacy 3 in his aunt Elizabeth Baston's Will 29 Nov 1742, East Hendred, Berkshire He has this pedigree 4 using his aunt Elizabeth's Will dated 29 Nov 1742. A photograph 5 of where Jonathan & Sarah were married in 1770 in All Saint's Church, Sutton Courtney, Berkshire. He had a will 6 on 4 Nov 1777 in Weald, Bampton, Oxfordshire. He has this pedigree 7 Pedigree chart using Jonathan's Will dated 1777 in Bampton, Oxfordshire. His will was probated 8 on 5 Apr 1785 in Weald Bampton, Oxfordshire. Possible son of William 1664/1680, needs checking.  Confirmed by Jonathan's will in 1777 in which he names his father and his brother William together with his brother's children.

	M	ii	Edward SKINNER-2500 was christened 1 on 21 Apr 1703 in St Mary's Church, Bampton, Oxfordshire. He was buried on 9 May 1703 in St Mary's Church, Bampton, Oxfordshire (TS "s of Robert").
	F	iii	Mary SKINNER-2501 was christened 1 on 21 Apr 1703 in St Mary's Church, Bampton, Oxfordshire. She was buried on 24 Apr 1703 in St Mary's Church, Bampton, Oxfordshire (TS "d of Robert").
1025	F	iv	Elizabeth SKINNER-1855 was christened on 20 Sep 1706. She was buried on 12 Dec 1779.

	M	vi	James MAY-5982 was christened on 22 Nov 1709 in St Lawrence's Church, Catsfield, Sussex. He was buried in date unknown in (Possibly 10 Jan 1742 Catsfield).
	M	vii	Thomas MAY-6314 was christened on 19 Mar 1711/1712 in St George's Church, Crowhurst, Sussex. He died in date unknown. Possibly same as Thomas about 1720
	M	viii	Thomas MAY-5948 was born about 1720. He was buried in (possibly 6 aug 1765 Catsfield). Temporarily added this Thomas to William, he may be the one baptised 1711 and also links the two branches, (may not be the right place).
